An opportunity has become available to join Transact’s market-leading Benelux M&A insurance team as a full-time M&A underwriter. You will work directly with Transact’s senior underwriters to evaluate, quote, and execute Warranty and Indemnity insurance policies for Benelux deals

POSITION:

M&A underwriter (3 to 6 years of experience), full-time, Benelux focused, Amsterdam-based.

CANDIDATE:

We are looking for a lawyer or M&A professional wanting to make the move to a more commercial and entrepreneurial environment. Some of the required skills are:

  • Up to 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably at an international law firm, Big 4, or similar, in the Netherlands or Belgium.

  • Proficient in drafting legal and commercial documents, with the ability to negotiate with commercially and legally sophisticated advisors and clients. No previous insurance or underwriting experience is required.

  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent command of both Dutch and English.

  • Enthusiastic and committed team player who can challenge other team members and work collaboratively in a highly focussed and skilled work environment.
